Polly and Digory, two English children living in the last century, find themselves in other-worldly places. Impulsive, curious Digory wakes up a person names Jadis who wreaks, or tries to wreak, havoc everywhere. In a new world called Narnia, its creator Aslan sends Digory on a quest. Read Magician's to read of the Jadis' harm and the quest's outcome.

It is interesting to note that Aslan and the witch are quite comparable. "With great power comes great responsibility," and it is in reading how each one handles power that makes the book sooo interesting. (even after reading it 8+ times!)

This music feels like background music to Jadis' tale of using the Deplorable Word.
